Kavos is located at the southern tip of Corfu. Although famous for its nightlife, Kavos also offers a great destination for a fun-filled holiday. There is a long sandy beach with sun beds and umbrellas for hire and all along the beachfront you will find a wide variety of tavernas and café-bars. Kavos is a large resort spread along several kilometres. Its centre offers a selection of eating options from fast food through to traditional Corfu Cuisine. There are also numerous bars, music bars and clubs in Kavos and during high-season many top DJs play in the resort's clubs. There are several ATMs and many gift and souvenir shops as well as mini markets as well as a 24-hour taxi rank. During the day Kavos provides a great base for exploring and there is a regular local bus service to Corfu Town and the other south coast resorts.
