If you are looking for that elusive, tranquil holiday in Sidari then look no further. Mega Idri Self-Catering Apartments and Studios offer good value, simple and comfortable holiday accommodation. They are located in a quiet rural area on the outskirts of Sidari. The nearest shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants are about 10 minutes walk away and it's a further one kilometre to the beach. With just eight apartments/studios there's plenty of space around the pool and very little noise.
Accommodation consists of apartments for 4 people and studios for 2 persons. All of them have simple cooking facilities, including a mini oven, fridge, electric kettle, shower/WC, balcony or terrace. Fans are available on request. To see pictures of Mega Idri Apartments click here.
Mega Idri has its own pool and sunbathing area for guests, with free sun loungers and umbrellas and there is a separate children's pool. The Mega Idri does not feature a pool bar thus allowing you the freedom to cater for yourself around the pool area.
The apartments are 45 minutes from the airport and 40 minutes from the ferry port. If you choose not to rent a car or bike then local taxis cost about 7 euros to the centre of Sidari. The area around Mega Idri Apartments is ideal for exploration. You can walk or drive to nearby traditional Corfiot villages or ramble through the surrounding olive groves. (As the local roads are unlit a torch is recommended if you are walking at night.)
